This chart shows another Gnosis fumble: Gnosis was early to non custodial neobank meta with EURe for payments. But majority of users and most notably @mzeller had to leave it. Gnosis had pioneered Prediction markets already in 2019 (Gnosis Olympia) They were early to Stablecoin chain meta too(xDAI) with DAI for gas. The Gnosis DAO even experiments with futarchy voting (where potential future price post-vote helps decision making) Thankfully Gnosis Safe and CoW ended up successful spinoffs. So Gnosis does have great ideas but sometimes needs to push it a few miles further until the market catches up.

So much OG talk and wonder what the real OG @DegenSpartan would say Personally, I believe previous years were easier to make it. You could read whitepapers, learn about technical innovation, study tokenomics and believe in HODL to make it. You didn't need a social following to rug followers to make it. Yeah, if you have social following now it's easy. I had previously written that crypto easy money era probably ended as historically these periods last 3-7 years: - California Gold Rush lasted 7 years. - Tulip mania lasted 3 - The dot-com bubble about 5 years before the Nasdaq dumped by 78% - Japan's bubble was 6 years, then Nikkei took 34 years to recover Crypto easy money started in 2017 with ICOs. Then DeFi summer 2020. NFTs in 2021. Airdrops. Points farming. Memecoins. So 8 years in total! Everyone knows crypto by now. Regulation has caught up so that arbitrage is narrowing down. Institutions have entered the market so YOU ARE their exit liquidity, not the other way around. So no wonder KOLs shill memecoins because it is easy FOR THEM to make money as other ways of making money in crypto got significantly harder.

It's memecoin szn! Yet once hot $WIF $POPACAT $MOG $FARTCOIN are down 50% YTD with no bounce during this 'memcoin szn'. KOLs who shilled these memes moved on to shill others where they have insider control. Those too will die soon. It's an insider-coin season not a meme-coin t.co/iVgEFJrbki

When Tradfi dreams bigger than crypto degens. Their predictions for end 2030: - LINK: $200. Or up by 24.2x - MORPHO: $60. 31.1x - AAVE: $3,500. 38.5x - UNI: $100. 25x Crypto natives forgot how to dream that big.

Fomo and pump fun generate more fees than Hyperliquid because of low crypto (and currently equities) volatility. Memecoins will die out soon and in a few weeks HL will be back on top. Screenshot this

Railgun's $RAIL is down 72% since its hyped integration in Kohaku privacy wallet by Ethereum Foundation. CT was bullish on $RAIL for months, and most recently in June as a privacy narrative trade. Yet unlike $ZEC, $RAIL retraced almost all gains. Still, Railgun's metrics are all near ATHs (fees, growing private volume, high staking (72%), TVL etc). Fundamentals are strong but $RAIL got overhyped and as a mid-cap liquidity is relatively shallow. Rail probably will make a comeback when privacy gets hot again.

Polymarket said their own L2 was #1 priority. That's 9 months ago. Either their shipping speed is super slow or Polygon managed to convince them to stay. Their own L2 would be the main reason for $POLY airdrop. Other than a dispute resolution tool (instead of UMA). x.com/DefiIgnas/status/2086762…

The sexiest crypto narrative for 2026 onwards is PMF. PMF shows real demand not just sexy stories that we traded on for years So instead of vaporware we focus on real adoption: - projects with high fees or token holder revenue - L1s/L2s with real value users (eth, sol, tron, arbitrum, base, robinhood...) - crypto cards ->neobanks - prediction markets - stablecoins - tokenization platforms - trading apps (fomo, pump fun) - perps - oracles (chainlink) - Defi (aave, morpho, fluid, pendle...) List is ever expanding but relatively easy to identify. The big one is memecoins: those as a category clearly have PMF! But memecoins fail to sustain rally as money rotates from one memecoin to another, thus it fails to create the wealth effect needed to boost sentiment. For one winner there are 1000 losers. So refocusing on fundamentals could attract attention and money inflows from millions of assets to few that matter. And reward teams that been building and adding value vs memes and kols that extract it.

Really hope this mini memecoin season fails to attract new retail to crypto. Don't want them to be enticed by huge gains and then get rinsed by KOLs and lose it all again. Worse if new celebrities join once more to extract from crypto. Crypto degen natives rotating capital is ok but don't want the new ppl to get disenchanted by crypto when so much is being built. Instead, hope that BTC regains momentum and attracts new capital who expect to finally outperform AI trades. Or $ETH and $SOL stories of revolutionizing tradfi with RWAs pick up steam. Even prediction markets narrative is healthier for retail. Just not memes.

Remember that for this deal Crypto com 'unburnt' 30B in $CRO tokens. They had burnt 30B CRO in 2021 but then unburnt them back to 1B in 2025. Was one of the most diabolic DAO sham votes ever.

Solana's smart strategy to list ALL assets: CEXs were superior to DEXs because many L1s couldn't be traded on Solana, Ethereum, etc. But now you can get exposure to XRP, TRX, ADA, TAO, etc. without leaving Solana. Ethereum's EVM ecosystem is lagging behind Solana. It's important because super 1-stop apps like FOMO need to provide the most assets available. And Solana is that venue. Smart.

Since memecoins aren't disappearing, I'd love Uniswap to build the memecoin launcher for all chains. and Dextools fork that isn't impacted by paid ads. Make it like public goods with lower fees and more transparency.

Ansem et al. try to make everyone bullish on CT but the problem is that we're already relatively bullish on crypto and our portfolio exposure to crypto is already high. We gotta make Reddit wallstreet bets & race to 10m subs as well as normies on FT and Bloomberg bullish on crypto. During recent AI stock crash there was a post on Reddit where to allocate capital post AI crash. No highly upvoted comment mentioned crypto.

Instead of reducing ETH yield, EF should focus on finding new ETH burn mechanisms Part of the EIP-8361 proposal is focused on burning ETH but at the expense of yield. Instead, find how to burn more $ETH ... Monetize MEV, tax the L2s or increase tx fees for some txs. Idk. Ethereans shit on Tron, but its 'bandwidth and energy' model ends up burning loads of $TRX thus pumping price.

Crazy how AI still can't write in 'your voice'. Writers were supposed to be replaced already but no matter how much training I do, Claude/ChatGPT still produces AI slop writing. It might do a few posts OK but the longer the thread goes, the worse the writing gets.

It would be interesting to see @LidoFinance @ether_fi & @aave grow a spine and straight-up refuse EIP-8361. Realistically, we won't end up with a new Ethereum Classic as they will be forced to fold. This will take down...

$LDO and $ETHFI dumped after proposal to reduce $ETH staking rewards. If passed, EIP-8361 would drop ETH yield from today's ~2.6% to ~1.2% at currently 33% of all ETH staked. And would drop to 0% yield after 50% staked. Lido accounts for 21% of all ETH staked, followed by Binance (7.9%) and Etherfi 4%. Although Etherfi is less exposed as 63% of its revenue now comes from card business. Still, this yield reduction affects whole DeFi ecosystem. Especially yield protocols like Aave and Fluid who generate fees from LST/ETH loopooors. Personally, I'd love even higher yield for ETH. It would clearly distinguish ETH from BTC as the yield asset to retail and institutions. And higher yield rewards most active onchain participants. LSTs like wstETH make ETH the smart collateral that grows in price over time. Passing yield reduction would make sense if ETH burn was increasing, but the opposite is happening as Ethereum scales and fees (thus burn) is decreasing. Not a fan of the proposal although my understanding on impact to Ethereum security is low :(

Crypto ATHs next. Seriously, crypto degens expected for equities to dump so the pre-dumped their crypto. But because equity dump didn't happen, crypto needs to run back up turbo.
