Bitcoin to Nasdaq correlation sharply dropped to the lowest level since 2018: It's now negative as Nasdaq is going down while BTC is pumping. Boomers love this stuff: They love to make portfolios with uncorrelated assets, thus BTC now looks sexier than ever, especially as 1) QQQ is concentrated AI trade and 2) it's dumping. It strengthens BTC's digital gold narrative, proves it's a more mature asset, and hopefully manages to trade higher if/when AI trade deflates further. TL;DR - bullish!

@DefiIgnas It’s happening Make sure you’re positioned accordingly

@DefiIgnas negative correlation with nasdaq is interesting but historically these decorrelation phases don't last long, curious how this plays out if fed pivots

@DefiIgnas BTC finally getting invited to the boring portfolio party

@DefiIgnas Does the inverse correlation survive the next Fed pivot?

@DefiIgnas finally seeing that decoupling show up

@DefiIgnas Stay bullish then

@DefiIgnas Uncorrelated upside is the cleanest pitch to boomers BTC pumping while Nasdaq bleeds makes the digital gold case almost too easy

@DefiIgnas We will see how long that lasts. Typically it wasn’t too bad that we had a high correlation to tech.

@DefiIgnas Does the negative correlation hold on longer timeframes or is this just a short-term snapshot?

Skullec.sol @pasarsegar_bpn · D

@DefiIgnas Lowest since 2018 is a strong claim But calling it proof of maturity from one correlation dip feels like a stretch

Flandermaxx @Flandermaxx ·

@DefiIgnas does the correlation stay negative if nasdaq bounces?

@DefiIgnas Correlation drop is a solid sign. Digital gold story getting stronger.

@DefiIgnas 2018 was a different market uncorrelated only matters when it holds

@DefiIgnas Seeing BTC climb while Nasdaq tanks feels like a real paradigm shift

blackshixin @blackshixin · D

@DefiIgnas low correlation regimes never last, they always snap back to 1 the moment there's a real liquidity crunch. saw the same "decoupling" talk in 2019 before everything crashed together in March 2020.

lidex @LidexOfficial · D

@DefiIgnas This is the decoupling we've waited for. Nasdaq down = BTC up. Digital gold narrative just got validated in real time. Uncorrelated + scarce + pumping = institutions have no choice but to allocate.

@DefiIgnas good meaning
