I don't think an apology is necessary. I've been reading your blog since its early days. Back then, you recorded the acquisition price and quantity of every trade, and the reasons for buying and selling on a daily basis. I learned a lot from the sense of immediacy, your ability to discern whether something was a value trap or not, the effort involved in waiting for unrealized losses, and conversely, your patience in letting unrealized profits grow. That was something that mere hangers-on couldn't imitate, and it was incredibly valuable. It contained things that you can't learn just by following along. I think that the fleeting nature of your approach on X simply led to this misunderstanding, and conversely, I also saw it as an opportunity to learn why hangers-on fail.

On the other hand, I feel that the criticism of promoting individual stocks will never go away, no matter how much you explain your intentions. When you used to publish individual stock picks on your blog, etc., it was very educational and helpful. I think it would be difficult to continue doing the same thing given the risk of criticism, so it's very unfortunate.

@kabu1000 Bringing up stocks in a discussion forum and then deciding whether or not to buy them is up to your own money and judgment. It's not blackmail, so it's within your own responsibility. I've failed many times with stocks recommended in expensive salons, but ultimately I think it's my own fault for believing them. The person who started this has made controversial posts before, and it seems they're still around.
