I went to the field this evening. Since I started covering the tomatoes with netting, they've become inedible 😊 If I forget to pick the okra, it grows to a huge size in just one day 😱 x.com/kabu1000/status/20874758…
I took profits on the shares I bought in after-hours trading on Friday because the opening price was higher than I expected. I try not to miss out on opportunities with such high probability of success 😊 x.com/kabu1000/status/20867925…
I bought a bunch of SK-II products at Aeon. Aeon offers a 30% discount on lotions and trial kits, and you can get even more discounts with your owner's card and discount coupons, and finally pay with an Aeon gift card, so it's quite a bargain 😊 x.com/kabu1000/status/20859765…
TOYO TIRE announced a share buyback of 32 million shares (20.78%) worth 115.2 billion yen at the closing price of 3,602 yen on August 7th. The shares will be acquired from its largest shareholder, Mitsubishi Corporation, via ToSTNeT-3.
The timing of this share buyback, following a sharp 14.22% drop in the stock price after the earnings announcement, is excellent from a capital allocation perspective. Furthermore, the fact that they have stated they will cancel almost all of the acquired shares, excluding 150,000 shares, on September 30th is also a positive point.
After the cancellation, a simple calculation suggests that EPS will increase by approximately 26%, from 402.57 yen to 508.78 yen. Applying their dividend policy of a "dividend payout ratio of 30% or more," the annual dividend could potentially exceed 153 yen.
In addition, with Mitsubishi Corporation, the largest shareholder, withdrawing, it will be interesting to see which players will become major shareholders in the future, and it will also be interesting in terms of governance and capital strategy.

My hometown tax donation from Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture has arrived!😆 Six large peaches🍑 This year's peaches are delicious😋 x.com/kabu1000/status/20841692…
On days when the Nikkei average skyrockets, my portfolio is consistently in the red 😂 Today I can't trade a certain semiconductor stock that I've been trading recently, so I'm taking a break from trading 💤 x.com/kabu1000/status/20830441…
Being able to eat okra picked this morning right away might be the greatest luxury in this day and age. Fresh vegetables give you energy! 💪 x.com/kabu1000/status/20830392…
I plan to hold onto the positions I bought near today's low for a while 😊 All other positions have been closed for profit 💰 x.com/kabu1000/status/20826399…
"Buy low, sell high, and you'll make a profit"—it's such an obvious principle, yet the stock market is both terrifying and fascinating because it often leads to the opposite outcome. Having watched the market for many years, I truly feel it's a world of profound complexity.
I believe Nojima's primary objective in acquiring Hitachi's home appliance business was to acquire its domestic manufacturing bases. These Hitachi factories are located in excellent locations, and the combined land area of the three factories is vast, exceeding approximately 1.4 million square meters. The land alone is valued at several hundred billion yen based on publicly assessed land prices. Furthermore, since the Taga (1939), Shimizu (1943), and Tochigi (1944) factories are older, it is presumed that the unrealized gains on the land are considerable. Large, well-located factories in Japan are rare and their value is expected to increase in the future, so I personally think the acquisition for approximately 110 billion yen was a very good deal.
I received a Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) item from Sato-cho, Okayama Prefecture!😆 It's a limited edition of 50 boxes containing 6 large Shimizu white peaches (2kg). Apparently this is a great year for peaches, so I'm looking forward to eating them!😋 x.com/kabu1000/status/20790810…
Kagome's Koamachan mini tomatoes for home gardening are now ready for harvesting little by little 🍅 They are a popular variety that is perfect for eating raw because of their good balance of sweetness and acidity and the fact that the skin doesn't leave a residue in your mouth. They are also easy to grow and produce a lot of fruit, so they are recommended for beginners 😊 x.com/kabu1000/status/20790143…
One of the easiest ways to determine the credibility of stock investment returns and asset figures posted on sites like X is to check how long the information has been consistently disclosed.
I would say that people who have consistently published their income and expenses and asset trends for at least 10 years, through good times and bad, are highly reliable. I also think that people who consistently disclose information not only on X but also on blogs, etc., and who create and publish their own asset portfolios using Excel, rather than just images like Kavui, are highly reliable.
For anything else, I think it's best to take a step back and view it as entertainment rather than worrying too much about its credibility.
