Crypto KOLs earn much more from paid deals relative to other industry KOLs. So gaming X rewards wasn’t needed. But ‘For You’ page was inundated by non crypto slop posts just to earn a few hundred USD that made X worse for crypto ppl too. Hopefully this fixed timeline a bit
Today, we’re launching Original Content Rewards. The reality is that Revenue Sharing had reached a point where its incentives were misaligned. We could have kept adding more rules and exceptions, but ultimately the better decision was to start fresh and build a program designed from day one to reward originality.
