some thoughts on the sentiment around crypto first, the AI comparisons seem silly in the grand scheme unless your time horizon was 3 years people have been working to make AI a thing for many decades, and scalable crypto didn't exist until 3 years ago not to mention, AI will aid crypto as AI excels in aiding software + math based systems (upgrading monetary systems is also a much longer process than upgrading software systems) second, speculation is innate in all humans and has been for centuries since speculation will never go away, neither will crypto class inequality rises -> more speculation and more opportunity to make it on a globally accessible permisionless economic computer or... class inequality reduces due to socialism barriers and state controls -> then you again need crypto against the barriers there is no world in which crypto does not keep growing the only questions that remained were i) is there potential beyond speculation? ii) will these things scale or will they remain slow databases? iii) can they become serious enough to break a trillion in mcap? iv) will governments allow it? those have been answered positively with stablecoins, solana, bitcoin, and recent regulations there remains tremendous work to be done on the frontiers for ownership, security, privacy, integrations, and legislation you should be happy that there are still many problems to solve otherwise there'd be no opportunity nor any fun I am tremendously long crypto
