I understand...the market was more comfortable when expectations were high before the earnings announcement. It's ironic that the price movements become more volatile after good figures are released. Today's Nikkei also started 513 yen higher at the open, but stalled down 97 yen by the midday close. It should have started with a sense of relief from the rise in US stocks after NVIDIA's earnings announcement in after-hours trading, but the momentum didn't last, and it's been a back-and-forth struggle.🦊
