@Barchart Getting sent indeed ๐๐ข They're heading for their 4th straight green post-earnings reaction: x.com/AstraInsights/status/209โฆ
the part of this chart that says the most is the boredom before the explosion. flat, sideways, nobody cares all afternoon, then one candle straight to the moon at 4pm. earnings hit exactly when the market closed and the retail crowd couldn't touch it my read: this is the timing problem nobody talks about. the move happens in extended hours on a report that dropped after the bell, so by the time a normal trader can actually click buy tomorrow, the +9.5% already exists. the candle you're admiring is a party you watched through the window so the honest takeaway: charts like this look like opportunity but they're really a receipt. they show you the exact moment being positioned beforehand paid off, and being fast afterward paid nothing. the green bar isn't a signal to act, it's a record of a decision that was already made before you saw it
@Barchart It should be through the floor it is absolute shite. Hubspot >>>>
@Barchart Classic SaaS penalty box because growth isn't infinite anymore
@Barchart Your company's software bill does not drop on a good earnings day. Mine has gone up every year I have been there.

@Barchart A 9.5% pop on a mature enterprise software name usually means expectations had already been marked down, not that the business inflected. The reply below the chart is the tell โ seat licenses renewing at higher prices is exactly what produces both the beat and the resentment.
