@unusual_whales Love seeing thoughtful analysis like this. Makes following the market much more interesting. @GwenPoth has some great viewpoints too.
@unusual_whales that eps beat is almost comedic. someone owes their analyst a talk
@unusual_whales The fact that people put money into this shit system is ridiculous 🤣🤣
that EPS line deserves a second look before anyone gets excited. $5.90 vs $3.27 expected is an 80% beat, and companies this large and predictable basically never beat by 80% on actual operations my read: a number that far above estimate is almost always a one-time event, a tax benefit, an investment gain, or GAAP vs adjusted getting mixed up in the headline. the revenue beat is tiny ($11.34B vs $11.3B est), which tells you the business itself was roughly in line. the blowout is on the bottom line, not the top so the honest read: revenue says "fine quarter," EPS says "something one-off happened." when those two disagree this hard, i trust the revenue line and go read the footnotes before calling it a monster print. the top line is the business, the bottom line is where the accounting lives
@unusual_whales Looks like Salesforce is making a strong case for their place in the cloud hierarchy, who wouldn't want a piece of that growth pie? Isn't it refreshing to see…
@unusual_whales Salesforce's revenue reached $11.34 billion, surpassing estimates of $11.3 billion, while earnings per share (EPS) stood at $5.9, below the expected $3.27.

@unusual_whales Looks like Salesforce just flexed its muscle. A solid reminder that hard work pays off in style.
@unusual_whales they absolutely crushed eps holding this quarter was the real play
@unusual_whales $CRM jumped more than 10% after earnings as AI and Data ARR reached $3.9B, up 210% YoY and $500M sequentially, showing Agentforce is translating AI adoption into recurring revenue. Our analysis: x.com/NextFinAI/status/2092705…
@unusual_whales Salesforce and Anthropic just announced "Claudeforce.” Salesforce is putting its CRM directly inside Claude. Sales reps can analyze pipelines, prep for meetings and update CRM data without ever opening Salesforce. This could be a glimpse at the future of SaaS.
@unusual_whales $CRM stays undefeated it's still 23% down from where it was January, much more room to run x.com/0xAvious/status/20826918…
@unusual_whales eps beating estimate by almost double and nobody's talking about it, wild quarter for CRM
@unusual_whales beat the street by a mile so maybe i can finally afford that new designer bag i been eyeing. daddy needs to pay up now.
@unusual_whales EPS almost double the estimate? That’s not a beat, that’s a full-on robbery of the shorts.
@unusual_whales $CRM delivered a monster EPS beat with revenue basically in line. Now the key question is guidance if growth holds up, this could force a quick re-rating higher.
@unusual_whales eps at 5.9 against a 3.27 print is the only number that actually rewrites the crm tape revenue sitting on 11.34b versus 11.3b just means the top line was already fully in the model
@unusual_whales So good earning stock goes up nvda incredible earning stock goes down hmm
@unusual_whales 5.90 EPS against a 3.27 estimate. I notice who beats by 80 percent and still gets treated like a miss. Ambitious quarters do not apologize for a beat.
@unusual_whales Consumption based Agentforce with no end user governance is gonna print for SFDC and send CTOs to the guillotine lol
@unusual_whales the reason most people focus on eps is that they're used to thinking about traditional businesses. in autonomous investing, revenue growth and cash flow are the metrics that really matter
@unusual_whales Revenue beat is modest, while EPS huge outperformance likely stems from non‑operating gains. It does not equal a sharp uptick in core operating profitability.
