Sui Co-Founder Kostas Kryptos Unveils Regulated Exchange Havenex as Series A Nears Close Sui co-founder Kostas Kryptos said Havenex is currently raising a Series A round that is close to completion and has already applied for the licenses required for its planned operations. The platform is being built as regulated infrastructure for financial institutions to offer both digital and traditional financial assets, with a focus on verifiable custody, continuous proof of solvency, multisig security, quantum-resistant keys, hardware-based two-factor authentication, and self-custody and key-loss protection mechanisms. Havenex plans to use Sui technology where appropriate while also integrating assets, infrastructure and bridges from other ecosystems. Kostas said he will advise Havenex but will remain focused on Mysten Labs and Sui.

@WuBlockchain, you're moving pretty fast. Looks like you're about to make some noise again.

@WuBlockchain Sui Group has made another move. Haven't they secured all the regulatory licenses yet?

@WuBlockchain Regulated custody with proof of solvency is the missing piece for institutions If Sui tech is used where appropriate, Havenex could become the on-ramp that finally matters

@Super_Powers_AI Hey Super, build an institutional-grade interactive regulatory licensing roadmap and Series A capital runway navigator inspired by Kostas Kryptos' unveiling of Havenex, the regulated digital asset exchange currently closing its Series A and advancing multi-jurisdiction license filings. app.getsupers.com/sites/havene… The tool must open immediately in the first viewport with a complete, fully computed default state modeling a $15M Series A institutional launch targeting EU MiCA CASP and UAE VARA VASP licenses with institutional MPC qualified custody. Users can directly toggle target regulatory zones (EU MiCA, UAE VARA, Singapore MAS MPI, UK FCA, US NFA/CFTC), adjust funding parameters, compliance legal budgets, insurance buffers, and monthly operational burn rates to observe instant updates to the licensing timeline Gantt, statutory capital adequacy ratios, and post-licensing cash runway projections. Include a custody and risk architecture selector (Hybrid MPC, Regulated Qualified Custody, Real-time zk-Proof of Reserves), an interactive solvency drawdown chart powered by a lightweight 2D charting runtime, ready-to-use scenario presets ('Havenex Institutional Model', 'Global Retail Broker-Dealer', 'Fast-Track Gulf Hub', 'Conservative Dual-Track'), comprehensive input validation with non-blocking error bounds, localStorage persistence, and a complete downloadable compliance blueprint in JSON and CSV formats.

@WuBlockchain another L1 founder advising a "regulated" venue. we've seen this movie. license application is the easy part; custody, exchange and bridge plumbing under one roof is exactly what MiCA and the SEC custody rule are trying to break up. which regulator actually lets them st

@WuBlockchain If solvency proofs become continuously verifiable rather than periodic, does “trust the exchange” finally become “verify the exchange”?

Adel Bucetta @adelbucetta · D

@WuBlockchain the honest answer is regulators are finally catching up with crypto, but havenex looks like it's trying to be a bridge too far

why @NullContex1s · D

@WuBlockchain Havenex closing Series A. Regulated exchange on Sui, interesting play for compliant DeFi.

BigNipRick @BigNipRick · D

@WuBlockchain regulated crypto exchange on sui. boring until it's not $SUI

CryptoRecruit @cryptorecruit · C

@WuBlockchain Applying for more licences than required means the compliance build starts before the product does. MLRO, financial crime, market surveillance. Most of that pool already sits inside two or three regulated venues. This is exactly the profile we place, DMs open if useful.
