This is the really interesting shift: once you create a credible record of performance, you can build an entire competitive culture around it. Competitions, rankings, rivalries, history, fantasy, prediction markets, social discovery. Turn performance into reputation. Turn reputation into competition. There’s a lot that can be built on top of that.
