@Barchart Sliding to crisis lows means the bids are genuinely gone, not just a headline flush. Absorption at these levels dries up fast and any bounce gets sold straight back by dealers unwinding inventory.

@Barchart as long as the Dodgers can't ruin baseball anymore, I'm all for it

@Barchart The price chart looks like 2009. The NAV chart doesn’t. A big part of this move is the premium turning into a discount — that’s a confidence story before it’s a credit-crisis story.

@Barchart GOF has been running a distribution the portfolio cannot earn! 💣 wealthhubtrading.com/articles/…

@Barchart The Los Angeles Dodger payroll in 2008 was $118K, adjusted by an inflation increase of roughly 55.1% over the 18-year period now would put that at $183K. The Dodgers 2026 payroll ... $410K I'll take what's wrong with Major League Baseball for $400 Alex

@Barchart Flagship fund hitting GFC lows while managing billions... markets spare no one 😬

@Barchart A fund reaching levels last seen in 2009 is hard to ignore. @DigiMaaya thinks investor confidence is clearly being tested.

@Barchart All because of the LeBron loan?

@Barchart Incorrect. GOF is nowhere near GFC levels.

@Barchart well that's not gonna be good for morale

@Barchart There is blood in the water for anything tied to Mark Walter and Guggenheim. If they lose investor confidence, it is over.

...price and NAV are doing rather different things here. $GOF spent most of the last decade at a fat premium because retail will pay well over asset value for a monthly cheque, a fair slice of which has been return of capital. Back at 2009 prices mostly means the premium has gone, a much milder statement than the portfolio being back at 2009. And it's a retail closed-end fund rather than the house account, which is a different building entirely❗️
