@Cbb0fe Haha, that's right, earning a little money with little capital is better than depositing money and having it all disappear. With reputable airdrops, you just receive them regularly, so you don't have to worry too much.
@Cbb0fe Bro you love airdrops ik did you join @variational_io by any chance??
@Cbb0fe most people just hate that they spent 6 months farming and got zero
ppl only hate airdrops because most of them farmed the wrong projects and got way less than they expected right now, there are 2 perp dexes that i think have the highest chance of delivering meaningful rewards to users - nado (very slept on) kraken’s perp dex. kraken is one of the biggest centralized exchanges btw app.nado.xyz?join=miles - variational. everyone in CT has heard about this one by now omni.variational.io/?ref=OMNIV…
@Cbb0fe bro 100%, they’ve been the best way to make money in crypto the past 6 years period
@Cbb0fe Hard to argue with that, especially compared to chasing random alpha calls.
@Cbb0fe and the ones that do scam you are usually the ones promising guaranteed returns airdrops at least make you work a little for it
@Cbb0fe Airdrops were the one distribution mechanism that paid for usage instead of capital or connections. The problem was never the mechanism — it was protocols airdropping to mercenaries and calling it a community.
@Cbb0fe airdrop hate ignores that retail rarely gets clean entries elsewhere even with sybil noise, the alternative is usually worse
@Cbb0fe people saying they hate airdrops are usually the ones who sold the token way too early and are still mad about it
@Cbb0fe people hate on airdrops because they're seen as easy money, not real traction. that's still a better outcome than losing your shirt on a pump-and-dump
@Cbb0fe Wen more airdrops Cb it’s like their illegal in the big 26
@Cbb0fe Airdrops should be reinstated, otherwise nobody will care about those products. Community is everything.
@Cbb0fe a lot of predatory tactics surrounding them as well e.g. fee farming the users and teasing/edging. but generally overall you are right, i can literally confirm 😂
@Cbb0fe life changing tbh uni to friendtech to HL expecting a fat fomo soon one of the most +ev things you can do tbh
the farms that I know you and I were both in - blur - friendtech - hyperliquid all of them required pretty significant capital risk. unless you were writing code to provide liquidity on blur like you were HL yes, I got a huge airdrop from them. but I bought way more than I got airdropped from $5-15, and made more money because of conviction in the protocol, with arguably less downside than trading perps on the platform blur if you didn't know what you were doing, like in season 2 or whatever, was super rough and friend tech I risked nearly $1m to just barely make it back
@Cbb0fe Yes they were, until we built an even better option. Reward people with commissions on conversions in stablecoins. Now they still post etc. to help grow the brand, but aren't rewarded in a token which the brand really doesn't want them to sell. Perfectly sustainable.

@HelenMoore47968 Sounds like @Cbb0fe really needs to check out ReplyCorp then! Because that's exactly what we've built, around mass word of mouth campaigns
@ericonomic @Cbb0fe if you held it yes at market open the point becomes moot imo bc everyone has access
