Trump has declared this reopened before - the pattern goes back to June; Jun 15 - Trump says the deal reopens Hormuz on Friday Jun 19 - IRGC re-closes the strait, threatens transiting ships Jul 9 - IRGC says only authorized ships may use its approved routes Jul 29 - Iran declares Hormuz fully closed, detains three tankers Aug 2 - Trump says a deal would reopen it; Iran rejects the claim the same day Which is why 11 of the 14 are on Iran's route. Will be watching
