one of the underrated potential use case for crypto imo decentralized socials have this weird connotation of "this thing doesnt work cause no one cares" but i do believe a good token design around a social media could actually change things social networks already run on status, attention and contribution, crypto just gives you a way to turn those into actual ownership + incentives the problem was maybe never decentralized social but just bad incentive design?

@0xNairolf Nghe cũng hợp lý đó, nhưng mà quan trọng nhất vẫn là phải tạo được nội dung hay để người ta ở lại, chứ token giỏi mấy mà không có gì để xem thì cũng khó.

@0xNairolf Bad incentive design is a tale as old as 2017. Still waiting.

@0xNairolf I don't think token incentives alone solve DeSoc. People already have strong reasons to post: status, distribution, community and attention. Adding money can actually make the experience worse if every interaction starts feeling extractive.

@0xNairolf In theory, a decentralized social network could reward creators much more fairly. An interesting idea!

@0xNairolf I would say its more about that at some point everything needs to be censored

@0xNairolf bad incentive design is a clean way to put it most social tokens just reward posting more not better
