Coinbase Launches New Deribit Matching Engine Capable of Processing Over 100k Orders per Second Coinbase has launched a new high-performance matching engine on Deribit, capable of processing more than 100k orders per second with sub-millisecond matching latency. The upgrade brings Deribit onto the same core execution infrastructure as Coinbase International Exchange. The engine will also introduce brief delays for aggressive orders on selected instruments, allowing liquidity providers more time to adjust quotes during fast-moving markets. Coinbase plans to migrate all of its perpetual futures to the engine later this year.

@WuBlockchain High throughput matters when trading demand accelerates. Better market infrastructure strengthens the wider crypto ecosystem, and HOODROIDS is building for that growth

@WuBlockchain 技术确实在迭代 交易体验又变丝滑了许多

@WuBlockchain 每秒十万单加亚毫秒级延迟,这个规格已经是传统金融交易所的水平了

@WuBlockchain speed matters but liquidity provider delays are the real story

@WuBlockchain 100k orders a sec sounds great until your database locks up and you spend three hours debugging a dead lock in redis.

Coinbase just put Deribit on the same high-performance matching engine as Coinbase International: >100k orders/sec, sub-millisecond latency.They’re also adding a deliberate speed bump on aggressive orders so market makers get a few extra ms to update quotes.Institutional derivatives infrastructure race continues.

@WuBlockchain 100K+ orders/sec is a serious upgrade—execution speed becomes another edge in derivatives.

@WuBlockchain Sub-millisecond matching is the headline, but in options the margin engine post-fill is usually where latency actually compounds. Any numbers on that side of the pipeline?

@WuBlockchain This is a meaningful upgrade. Better execution and lower latency benefit both traders and liquidity providers.
