USDT Supply Shrinks by $4B Over 60 Days as Investors May Be Exiting Crypto According to CryptoQuant data, USDT’s 60-day rolling supply change has declined by about $4 billion, including an $870 million drop over the past 11 days alone. Analyst Stacy Muur said some investors appear to be exiting crypto altogether by converting stablecoins back into fiat, while changing stablecoin yields may also be contributing to the decline.

@WuBlockchain Might not necessarily mean investors are exiting. Usually happens as well when investors starts converting stables to coins/tokens My one cent

@WuBlockchain $4B untethered in 60days. Guess investors finally remembered that the stable coins actually don’t pay for their groceries 😁

@WuBlockchain $4B exit and the charts still look like my running route along the Tejo flat but somehow painful

NeonWhale @tetes_view ·

@WuBlockchain the fiat exit narrative fits but yield rotation explains the timing better $4B moving out of stables into tradfi instruments tracks with rate expectations

@WuBlockchain Stablecoin drawdowns don’t always mean exit could just be rotation

@WuBlockchain My read: no one's leaving crypto, they're leaving low yields. USDT supply is my barometer. Currently reading: parked in cash.

@WuBlockchain didnt USDT just get banned in EURO markets ?

@WuBlockchain Rubbish you still can make at least 5% yield on stable coins, which no bank will give you!

@WuBlockchain literally one of the greatest bottoming signals historically lol

@WuBlockchain Key distinction: total stablecoin outflow vs. USDT→USDC migration. MiCA is changing Europe’s stablecoin mix, so USDT falling alone may overstate lost crypto liquidity. Aggregate stablecoin cap, exchange netflows and mint/redemption data matter more.

@WuBlockchain supply shrinking and usage growing can happen in the same month, a dollar that turns over ten times does the work of ten dollars sitting still, the number worth watching is velocity rather than float

@WuBlockchain That’s not dry powder anymore. It’s walking out the door.

@WuBlockchain $4b out and suddenly everyone remembers fiat exists, proper risk-off behaviour from the same crowd that was farming 12% stables like it was free money.

WhalePanda @walepandaa ·

@WuBlockchain DWF Labs article has been closely following stablecoin flows and market dynamics the $4B decline in USDT supply is a useful signal, whether it reflects capital leaving the market or moving into higher-yield opportunities x.com/DWFLabs/status/208716262…

@FABITSolutions @WuBlockchain @cz_binance lol .. you must live in a very rose tinted world.. the only "scammers" that get banned are the people or companies that refuse to pay the bribes to the people in power. USDT refused to use EURO debt as backing .. so they got banned.
