you know, i think lighter isn't the closest comp here, aster is.. aster and variational are both in the sub-$2B OI tier right now. lighter is at $854M, less than half of what variational is doing. aster sits at $1.9B OI with a $4.8B FDV. that's a 2.53x FDV/OI multiple... apply aster's multiple to variational's current $1.4B OI and you get $3.54B FDV. run the same table at $3.5B FDV: 20% airdrop → $76/pt 25% airdrop → $95/pt 30% airdrop → $114/pt now if variational grows OI to match aster's $1.9B before TGE, same 2.53x multiple gives $4.8B FDV: 20% airdrop → $104/pt 25% airdrop → $130/pt 30% airdrop → $156/pt variational is doing 74% of aster's OI with presumably a fraction of the valuation. the lighter comp at $3B is actually the bear case when you use the protocol that's closest in size...
