How ready to piss in pants one must be to come here advocate something before its even happened, just out of fear that it will happen, like seeking an anticipatory bail and to later claim that they had prophesied this would happen. And as far as this issue goes I think both the parties have been guilty and as such we do have to look at case to case basis whether there's harm being done. I wont pretend that fake protests don't happen but only if you don't pretend that no harm has ever come in this way by misleading.

@deepakshenoy Its always like this. Easier for unaffected people to judge protestors. When someone is affected, they will protest. I will always doubt the authorities more than the protestors given the corruption in our authorities.

@deepakshenoy India should adopt a Local Benefit Sharing Policy for major infrastructure projects. If a region hosts a nuclear power plant ,Steel Plant other nationally important project, the local community should receive direct benefits—not just promises.
