🇺🇸📉 FINANCE NEWS: Bitcoin has tumbled from its all-time high near $120,000, completing a well-defined head-and-shoulders pattern. The neckline broke below $80,000 in January, and the price has now retraced 50% from its peak. The $60,000 level, a psychological support/resistance barrier since 2021, is now under threat . 🔍💻 The narrative has cracked. Epstein documents revealed that the financier's network, including a reported $3.5 million donation funneled through MIT's Media Lab, helped fund Bitcoin's core developers when the Bitcoin Foundation went bankrupt. This undermines the myth of Bitcoin's purely organic, decentralized origins . 🇫🇷🚨 The "wrench attack" has become a reality. France has recorded 77 crypto-linked kidnappings and extortions in 2026, up from 45 in 2025. Criminals have targeted executives and their families—including Ledger co-founder David Balland, who was kidnapped in January 2025. French officials attribute the surge to MiCA regulations that have created registries of crypto holders . 🇺🇸🛢️ Government seizure is no longer hypothetical. In "Operation Economic Fury," U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the U.S. has frozen over $130 million in Iran-linked crypto wallets and seized roughly $1 billion in Iranian crypto assets overall. Bessent declared: "We will aggressively follow the money and deny the Iranian regime access to the proceeds of its illicit revenue schemes" . ⚡ Coldcard's cold storage illusion shattered. A firmware vulnerability has been exploited in coordinated attacks that drained at least 1,596 BTC (~$100 million) from over 7,300 hardware wallets since July 30. The flaw, introduced in March 2021, caused devices to generate deterministic seeds using a weak random number generator instead of true hardware entropy. Even newer models with reseeding only provided 32 bits of randomness, easily brute-forced using a wallet's public address. Installing the new firmware does not fix existing seeds—users must migrate their funds . #TheWorldCorrespondent #Bitcoin #Crypto #BTC #EpsteinFiles #SecurityBreach #Coldcard #Geopolitics #Sanctions #Regulation
