To be completely honest, if you had asked me last week which hardware wallet I’d recommend, I would’ve said either a Coldcard or an air-gappable Trezor running bitcoin-only firmware. On the setup side, I would have told you to load bitcoin-only firmware (if using a Trezor), air-gap the device, use multisig, generate your own entropy, and back everything up on steel plates. If you followed all of that, you would have been fine. If you stopped at “just get a Coldcard” and ignored the rest of the advice, you might have gotten rekt. Not proud but it is what it is 🤷♂️ The reason why I post this is because I see lots of people quietly deleting their old Coldcard posts, and LARPers claiming they knew the entropy bug was there all along. Y'all fake as fuck.
