@isabellasg3 @Jason_Matos @Bitkey But the specialized chips for randomness in hardware wallets already do an amazing job of generating truly random bits that can't be guessed. Coldcard just didn't use the chip source properly. But any wallet that does this correctly is also secure.

@isabellasg3 @Jason_Matos @Bitkey Dice rolling is not necessary. It's just a way to generate randomness without trusting electronics, if you're afraid to trust electronics. Personally, I wouldn't be fearful of other hardware wallets' randomness, as the coldcard flaw was an unusual level of incompetence.
