@AltcoinDaily I learnt they were warned and alerted of this bug since May 2025 and they did literally nothing to fix it. They should reimburse all users 100% with additional incentive for their emotional distress.
@AltcoinDaily A hardware wallet is meant to reduce sleepless nights, not create new chapters for them.
@AltcoinDaily How? Their company is probably worth $5 million.
@AltcoinDaily That ain't gonna happen, they will be lucky if they even survive this nightmare. Who is going to trust them again?
@AltcoinDaily So should all rug pullers, scammers and people that shill useless coins for cash but will that happen?
@AltcoinDaily Absolutely. If users lost funds because of a Coldcard failure, the company should take responsibility and reimburse every affected customer.
@AltcoinDaily this wont be a popular opinion but yeah would build massive trust if they did
@AltcoinDaily Only if they made enough money from it. Anyone can make an unintentional software mistake. If it's proven that it was unintentional, then that's it—it was a human error. But if it's proven that it was intentional, then they should have to pay.
@AltcoinDaily reimburse for what exactly coldcard shipped the hardware they promised
@AltcoinDaily “I’m sorry and devastated” is nice. Actual money back for the people who lost life savings would be better. The bug lived in production that long, accountability shouldn’t stop at tweets
@AltcoinDaily Even if they're not legally required to, taking care of affected users would probably be the best long term move for their reputation
@AltcoinDaily if only they had a Law that would have protected consumers of an incident like this....🤔something like..The Clarity Act? ehhh, wishful thinking
@AltcoinDaily How much do the company have generated itself. These guys aren’t trading protocol that generates fees on daily basis.
@AltcoinDaily If this isn't their attitude, who's going to trust them next time?
