@punk2898 Binance is openly poaching users, but secretly it's trying to seize pricing power in the US stock market. This observation is very accurate. Traditional exchanges have off-hours markets, but on-chain markets don't sleep, so price discovery naturally gravitates towards those that are always open.

@punk2898 If that's the case, then not only US stocks, but all new assets with closed-end trading characteristics could potentially be monopolized by Binance. The value of Binance, or rather, cryptocurrency exchanges, is bright; people will gradually shift their focus to platforms that offer 24/7 trading.

@punk2898 TradFI's 26-year history of historic changes in cryptocurrency exchanges is just like what Big Brother said: Why run around everywhere? Crypto security departments have already become full-asset exchanges with standardized, rational, and humanized regulations. The 24/7 trading mechanism in the cryptocurrency world vs. the traditional weekend trading halt is more attractive to users. Stay tuned. What breaks yours may not be your competitor.

@punk2898 The main point is 24-hour trading, allowing users to trade anytime so they can do nothing when the market closes, just like Bitcoin. Is that really an innovation? You could say that.

@punk2898 I used to think that listing US stocks on Binance was just more convenient and had lower fees, but after reading this, I realized that what they're really fighting for is pricing power.

@punk2898 Just look at the trading volume of Hype and Bank of North America (BN) to see how lucrative the 24/7 US stock market is. Hype's RWA trading volume was significantly reduced by BN, and its price plummeted, demonstrating the importance of this sector. 😂

@punk2898 If Binance really shakes up the pricing power of US stocks, traditional brokerages probably won't be sleeping soundly.
