ColdCard security flaw is a bad look. They bet everything on radical internet isolation, assuming internal code was flawless. Good idea in theory. Overconfidence killed it in practice. But this doesn't discredit Bitcoin. The asset didn't fail. The custody solution did. Banks fail constantly. People don't stop using dollars. Diversify across multiple cold wallets. Spread your risk. No single custody method is bulletproof. What you can control is how you distribute the vulnerability. Uncertainty is inevitable. Reducing its severity is in your hands
