Self custody isn't the problem. The hardware wallet used to "salt that s#it away"...IS! Institutional custody defeats the whole idea of self storage. While no cold storage solution is 100% secure, constant diligence and testing minimizes the risk. The hack of #Coldcard should've never happened. Complacency is a cruel mistress.

We've always reiterated that self-custody doesn't have to be complicated. And we've been building towards one goal: to make holding your own funds simple and secure. No company can or should ask you to trust their tech blindly. This is why third-party independent audits exist.
