@andyz8818576155 This can't be entirely applied to the fact that the fundamentals of the stocks he heavily invested in are quite ordinary and not high-growth stocks. So when a major buyer was wiped out, no new institutions became interested in these stocks, and the price couldn't go up.

@andyz8818576155 I hate it when people constantly use the 2000 dot-com bubble as an analogy to scare people. There are so many differences, I can't even be bothered to say more. If you're talking about bubbles, when has the US stock market ever been without one? There have only been a few times when there was a temporary pullback after a crash.
