Argentinians' obsession with the dollar, while seemingly an act of worship, is actually a yearning for a stable currency. When a country experiences prolonged high inflation, currency devaluation, and frozen banks, what people ultimately lose is not wealth, but trust in the system. When ordinary people discover that earning money is less effective than outpacing inflation, saving money is less profitable than exchanging for dollars, and the money in their banks isn't always readily available—they will naturally seek alternative wealth protection mechanisms. Once this trust is repeatedly shattered, forcing everyone to believe in their own currency is extremely difficult to restore.

@muhanmode123 Currency may change, inflation may escalate, but the instinct of ordinary people to protect their wealth will always remain. 😂

@muhanmode123 Argentinians hold US dollars not because they worship the currency, but because they have witnessed firsthand the shrinking purchasing power of their own currency. For those who have experienced high inflation, the US dollar represents not speculation, but a stable expectation.
