goodbye @Dreamcash dreamcash is winding down their CASH markets on @HyperliquidX 's HIP-3. everything settled by july 2. the reason is a simple but important lesson for every HIP-3 deployer: CASH ran on USDT. but hyperliquid uses USDC as its native stablecoin. so most traders already hold USDC by default, and asking them to switch into USDT just to use your markets adds friction most people won’t bother with. they didn’t migrate to USDC. they just closed the markets and shifted focus back to their mobile app. the notable part: CASH was the clear number two on HIP-3. billions in volume, tens of thousands of traders, perps on stocks, commodities, and indices. none of it was enough once the default stablecoin worked against them. on hyperliquid, the native rail is USDC. if you’re deploying on HIP-3, choose your stablecoin with that in mind. strong volume doesn’t fix a structural disadvantage. and last words, good luck for the next plan dreamcash team!

@louisdives @Dreamcash @HyperliquidX the USDT/USDC mismatch on HIP-3 is the hidden deployment risk. HL settles in USDC – any deployer using USDT-denominated assets carries basis exposure that compounds with vol. dreamcash found out live. whoever comes next on HIP-3: collateral layer first, liquidity layer second.
