I just got banned from @HyperliquidX ?? 😭😭 My main wallet was suddenly flagged as “high risk” by a third-party screening tool, and I can no longer connect to the Hyperliquid frontend I genuinely do not understand this decision, especially because it is happening now. Over the past two months, I had actually been much less active than usual because I was busy with other things and had taken a partial break from trading. I have been trading on Hyperliquid organically for months, usually once or twice a week, and I have been a real supporter of the ecosystem from early on. I am not posting this to attack Hyperliquid, because I still believe the team has built something exceptional. What I do find concerning is how cases like this are handled. I reached out on Discord to understand what happened, and instead of being able to explain myself or get any clarity, I was timed out for a week. I honestly do not believe I did anything wrong. This wallet has been mine for more than 4 to 5 years, and I have never been flagged or reported for suspicious activity on any airdrop or any platform I have ever used. This was also my main address on Hyperliquid, the one where I did most of my activity, with around $750,000 in total volume since the beginning. I know that may be negligible compared with some bigger traders, but it was still my primary account and an important part of my activity on the platform. I will keep trading on Hyperliquid using secondary addresses, because I still support the product, but the lack of transparency and the inability to defend yourself when flagged is genuinely harmful for users. All I am asking for is clarity, a fair review process, and the ability to understand what supposedly triggered this. If anyone can help me, or share any useful information that could help me resolve this situation, I would be immensely grateful !

Its best to use privacy when you withdraw funds from Hyperliquid. For example, even withdrawing funds to a casino site like stake.com or rollbit is considered "high risk" by these third parties. So your wallet could get flagged even from innocent activity like this. best practice: swap your USDC into zcash shielded pool then swap back out into your destination address. Also when depositing, you can go from Zcash shielded pool directly into Hyperliquid...all this can be done via @zodl_app wallet -- this will completely mask the flow of funds so those third party tools cant trace you.

in order for an analytics provider to flag your wallet, it must meet several conditions first. they don't just flag wallets they deem suspicious, unless it's a genuinely concerning/obvious case. based upon supports response, although some of the people commenting here find vague; you are most likely using a VPN or a 3rd party service to access hyperliquid. if that is not true then you had to have made multiple decisions in your transactional behavior that led to the wallet being flagged, this is the logical assumption that many of us would make upon reading that response from support. hopefully you can resolve your situation, cheers.

There are no decision... I created a Discord ticket three times regarding this issue, in order to withdraw money from Hyperliquid. I was banned three times for this question and kicked from Discord after the standard response that my wallet is classified as high-risk. That's the extent of Hyperliquid's decentralization. The solution here if money is stuck is to use a different frontend.

It's so weird. 0xab55337aab7f253ac6923ec2aa8c702754d08151 is tagged direct as CSAM. There's an (unused) BTC address too. Receives 4 txns from 3 addresses for $10-50 in Aug/Sept. One of those addresess also sends to Loliporn (more CSAM.) So 0xab55337aab7f253ac6923ec2aa8c702754d08151 is plausibly receiving CSAM payments. But then nothing happens. 0 activity. And in March it starts sending 0.000001 ETH txns to ~3k addresses who had sent to an address starting with 0xab. Regardless of if they had a balance or not. I dunno maybe a shitty CSAM seller pivoted to try address poisoning. Maybe the key was compromised and picked up by a shitty address poisoner. I think its unlikely all 3k of these receipients are buying or selling CSAM. Their activity is all over the map. The only similarity seems to be that they sent to an address that starts w/ 0xab. I think given the prevalence of real money address poisoning today,its irresponsible for chain to have defaults set at 0%. Set them to 0.001%. Or 0.01%. A single incoming txn for $0.02 on a 4 year old address with 9k txns isn't appropriate. Even if it is CSAM, it's still not appropriate. My personal addresses are dirtier than his with a fraction of the activity LMFAO. Its wild too bc @chainalysis SUCKS AT ATTRIBUTING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND SUCKS AND UN-ATTRIBUTING NON-CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. Chain is basically unsuitable for any defi shit if they don't fix the underlying problem. You cant miss illicit funds and require teams to have manual processes and then create headaches like this on top of it all.

I'll speak to Chain and Hyperliquid and see if we can adjust shit slightly fix this + reduce the liklihood of this happening again in the future. I think there's ways to reduce the risk of false positives without letting actual CSAM scum use DeFi.
