My daily win rate has always been roughly like this. However, it's a case of small gains followed by a big loss, so in the end, about two-thirds of my daily profits remain. This time too, I ended up with a big loss of around 100 million after going up 150 million, so this was also normal.

I've really been feeling this lately. It's true for stocks themselves, but the shorter the timeframe, the more dependent it becomes on myself—a real battle.

Yesterday's massive loss on Kioku marks the end of the second phase of Kioku day trading. After 20 days, I only had one loss which was better than expected, as I had originally anticipated a massive loss of around 30 million yen from that point and in the end, I made a profit of +9 million and finished with a loss of -45 million over 23 days, which was pretty much as planned. I think the difference in environment on the last day contributed to the larger loss but looking at the trading volume and price movements, I think it was bound to end sooner or later. So, the result of the second phase was 23 wins and 2 losses, +97.44 million . The average daily profit was +4.23 million yen. The profit didn't surpass the first phase, but considering the stock price itself was often in a downturn and trading volume was steadily declining, I think this is about right. Above all, because it had been going down for so long, I think it was good that I was able to prove the solidity of day trading, whether it's going up or down. Now, the most important thing from tomorrow is to "not do it". My body has become accustomed to typing the 285a code every morning, so the question is how to resist and make not doing it a normal thing. I know from experience that the times I lose the most are when I "don't intend to do it, but end up doing it when I see it," so tomorrow I will make sure to sleep in or go out on a planned basis and be thorough in not doing it. And if I were to do a third phase, the condition would be "a trading volume of 3 trillion yen" as a guideline. If it's around 3 trillion yen, I think the average daily profit will be around 500, so that's the guideline. However, I don't know if it will exceed 3 trillion from the morning, so all I can do is try it the day after it exceeds that. However, the current figure for yesterday was 1.5 trillion, and that figure includes a lot of share buybacks and selling of Toshiba shares. If you consider that the share buybacks will stop from there, it seems like it will be a long time before it returns to 3 trillion, or maybe it will never happen, so for that reason, I think it's okay to call it quits here for now. Well, I never thought I'd have another chance to do single-stock day trading like that, so I was able to collect a lot of data and relive some nostalgia, and I also learned that you can still make solid profits with day trading if the conditions are right, so I'm grateful for this valuable experience 🙂

How are you all spending your weekend? Lately, the only thing I've been writing about every day is "the results of my Kioxia day trading," but of course, I'm continuing my usual main medium- to long-term investments as usual, so it's quite normal for me to see my portfolio go down by 100 million yen while I'm desperately making +2 million yen on Kioxia. 😎
