They say public discussion on semiconductor excess profits will begin in July, and the Ministry of Labor has firmly stated that it will start sometime in July. They say it's some kind of German-style approach where they throw out questionnaires and define policy directions... It doesn't seem like it will be finished in the short term, but rather will take quite a while. Honestly, this has absolutely nothing to do with the logic behind the rise in memory prices. It isn't a forced clawback, and the Minister has already drawn a line, stating that he has "neither the authority nor the intention to intervene forcibly." It's just a stage of setting the agenda, not a confirmed policy. The fact that Samsung Electronics dropped 5.3% and SK Hynix 8.4% on Friday wasn't due to this either. It was a simple correction caused by foreign investors taking profits after the memory surge compounded by interest rate burdens, and the excess profit discussion is just adding a bit of noise. Rather, this noise is proof that "the semiconductor industry is currently earning enough to worry about excess profits." The HBM cycle is in full swing, and the majority view is that profits will peak around August. It's just short-term fluctuation, not that the cycle has turned

이거 솔직히 이거 메모리 상승 논리랑 관련된게 아무것도 없음. 강제 환수도 아니고 장관도 "강제 관여 권한도 생각도 없다"고 선 그은 상태. 의제 던지는 단계지 정책 확정 아니니까
금요일 삼전 -5.3% 하이닉스 -8.4% 빠진 것도 이거 때문 아님. 메모리 급등 후 외국인 차익실현에 금리 부담 겹친 단순 조정이고 초과이익 논의는 노이즈 하나 얹은 정도임
오히려 이 노이즈가 "지금 반도체가 초과이익 걱정할 만큼 벌고 있다"는 방증임. HBM 사이클 한창이고 이익 정점 8월경 본다는 뷰가 다수임. 단기 흔들림이지 사이클 꺾인 거 아님
