Mean Reversion Bounce Trading

I wanted to try this type of trading and was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how to be successful?

MR is a longer trend system so it's not really great for day trading short timeframes but in such states you would measure the mean and then short when above and go long when below. I know it's basic, but again, for short timeframes it's very so-so. And of course that is presuming the mean doesn't move on you.

I'm talking about scanning for stocks that are below 15 RSI on the daily on high caps/mega caps and finding support at 52 week lows. I think these get technical bounces of 5-8% done a bit of research into it, might be wrong though, just thought someone here might have experience.
