Berkshire's stock holdings are concentrated but stocks are only a quarter of the company

Berkshire's 2nd qtr 10-Q says its 5 largest holdings were 66% of its equity securities at June 30. They are Alphabet, American Express, Apple, Bank of America and Coca Cola. It was 65% at the end of last year but the equity securities are $323,8 billion out of $1.26 trillion in total assets, which is about a quarter. T-bills are another $324.9 billion and the rest is businesses it owns outright like the railroad and the utilities. 5 stocks at 66% is one thing when they sit inside that but put the same 5 stocks at 100% of someone's savings and it's a different bet.
