I got tired of retyping school and activity messages into our family calendar, so I built an app that reads the screenshot instead

I'm a dad of two, and I kept doing the same stupid little task over and over again: school sends a message, coach changes the practice time, someone sends an invitation. I take a screenshot so I don't forget it and later I still have to open the calendar and manually retype the date, time, place and details. So I built Tuttofatto to remove that step. You give it a screenshot or paste some text, it extracts the useful information and prepares an editable event. If another message later says that the class was cancelled or moved, it can work out which event it refers to and suggest an update. There's more in the app - shared family calendars, preparation lists, reminders - but screenshot → event was the thing that made me start building it. Android is live now. I'm not really looking for "great idea!" feedback at this point 😄. What I'd genuinely like to know is whether this solves a real annoyance for other people or just one that happens to annoy me personally. The images show the actual flow. If anyone tries it, I'd especially love to know where you hesitate, get confused or simply think "I wouldn't bother doing this". Tuttofatto on Google Play: Tuttofatto on Google Play

Ooh that Zumba for kids event is so specific, I feel like that screenshot was pulled straight from someone’s actual chaotic Monday

When I opened Tuttofatto’s listing, the text I could retrieve was stylesheet code, so I couldn’t assess the actual store presentation; checking the rendered listing is the next step. For the hesitation you asked about, I’d make the cancellation preview show the original event beside the suggested change—especially when two children have similarly named activities. I make ThreadFox. I went through Tuttofatto’s listing as a first-time visitor and wrote up what I hit, including that access limitation; the full check is free: https://threadfox.vip/p/d0i7r Does it ask the parent to choose when a message could refer to either child’s event?
