I posted about my app on IG every day for a month+. Here's my results

I'm sharing, I guess, to show what it's like out here. My app is in the *"do X-thing to unlock your selected apps"* category. An app blocker, basically. Nothing special. Something you've seen a million times. I have a novel-ish twist to it, but again, nothing special. I wasn't gonna reveal it but, I don't care, here it is. I committed to posting 2-4 times per day all of September (Instagram only). Just spraying and praying pretty much. Copying other formats. Trying to be unique. Here's my account. Rip it to shreds (be nice-ish eh?) Here's the results: \- about 90 posts \- 100K views/impressions \- 35 downloads \- $75 in total revenue To put it simply, I'm discouraged lol I know it's just posting content, but this game is rough. I'm SURE it's me. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I'm not super creative. It's been hard for me to come up with ideas. I've spent a lot of time just watching and learning from app founders. This is my first real attempt at building and **marketing**. So I know it's not gonna be a win on my first real try. But man... it sucks when you post and get like zero traction and downloads day after day after day. I had some posts consistently get thousands of views. Best I can guess is I was getting \~1 download per like 2,000-2,500 views. Not good, obviously. Anyway... just wanted to share my learnings and experience. I don't know if THIS is the app that'll make me money, but I'm gonna (try to) keep going. I wish there was more i could teach you from my story other than maybe it just takes more time than you think.
