From someone who is sued to swing trading or HODLing how do I make the switch?

So I’ve been trading for 3 years solely swing trading, and also just holding. I understand long term this is the most beneficial but I have allocated a small amount of my MASSIVE fortune(joking I set aside like 3k) to try and get returns in a daily/weekly basis. What things do I need to change in terms of my analysis of a stock/crypto to be profitable in the short run? Is it purely news? Company financial hardly play a large part in a day/week timeline. I have some experienced with leveraged trades and options. Is that the only viable way to make day trading money? I wasn’t too successful with options or leveraged trades that’s why I stopped. EDIT: to all the scammers out there I have lost 12k to you guys when I was young and stupid. Stop DMing me saying I need to trade on your “platform” or you guys will “handle” my money. Piss off

company financials barely matter intraday tbh. it's mostly key levels, relative volume and what QQQ/SPY are doing. paper trade one or two tickers for a month first, overtrading is what kills most swing guys switching over
