Build something you don’t want to use

I constantly see the advice of develop something you would use yourself. I disagree. Build something you wouldn’t use. Don’t build a habit tracker or a fitness app, you’d use those yourself. Build a platform for streamlining timber imports/exports in an antiquated industry. Of course that’s an example, but I’m sure you get the idea. That’s the key to success. Build something you wouldn’t use!!

congrats you are lucky? IMO the main drive to build something you want to use yourself is the passion and motivation for yourself to keep on putting love and care to your product.
