I just heard someone say AI will replace all engineers and developers

So yesterday I was on X, and people now know me as a vibe coder and a solo developer for my app and let me tell you, I don't know shi about code. Then someone came to me and said that by 2030, AI would take over all software engineering jobs. Now what? I believe AI will get better it will, for sure but there will still be a need for software engineers. Sure, there will be plenty of AI tools that can generate code, but the need for people who actually understand that code will be at an all-time high. That’s why, as a vibe coder, I respect software engineers so much. Also, I’m building my own app, Firstrep, as a 17-year-old, and I’m done with the development phase now. I just need to list it on the app stores.
