Building Nota, an offline notes + whiteboard app for Mac

I’m building Nota on and off with Codex, Claude and other models. It uses the AFFiNE/BlockSuite editor with a new backend I built; credit to both projects. Core notes and whiteboards work offline without an account. I’d like feedback from Mac developers on testing the canvas: two testers on M1/M2 Airs reported jumpy trackpad pinch zoom, with the M2 report narrowing it to boards with more than 3–4 shapes and deeper zoom. What would you measure first to isolate that?
