Reliable way to get sellside research from different banks?
I know this gets asked every once in a while on different parts of Reddit and I do know the answer, BUT I figured I'd still give it a go - is there a reliable way/service that you guys use to get sellside research reports?
A good friend of mine recently sold his construction company for low 8 figures and is now trying to full-time run something like a family office, I've been helping him with a few things. When MU reported recently the guy was ecstatic (he's been holding since sub $300), just for the fun of it I reached out to some old friends (I used to do risk management but left HF space years ago) who got me a couple sellside reports on Micron. The guy, who is very hands on, has been addicted since and keeps asking me to get reports on this and that. First, my HF friends only pass me reports from select few banks, second, i obviously can't keep bothering them about price target updates on random tech and dividend aristocrat stocks. Our brokerage (Morgan Stanley) only gets us Morgan Stanley (surprise).
We're spending like $5K a month on research of all sorts (starting with a Bloomberg, which itself allows to access very few reports, and going down to stuff like Whalewisdom), I'm sure he'd be willing to pay good money if he could get his hands on random reports from random banks whenever he feels like it. Anyone else in the same boat and figured out a solution?
