Am I the only one tired of endless onboarding questionnaires?

Why do so many apps make you answer a bunch of questions before you can even use them? Half the questions seem barely related to what the app actually does. Some apps take several minutes just to get through the onboarding and reach the home screen. Does anyone actually like this? Or have we all just gotten used to it?

I have 50 onboarding screens. The pain stops after the user pays to stop the onboarding.

After about a min, I’ll just delete it. I’m not doing a questionnaire just to use the app, then get hit with an immediate paywall of a “free trial” with an expensive monthly plan.

I checked out an app someone posted here a couple days ago, and I stopped and deleted it halfway through the onboarding. You would get through one section of the onboarding and think you were done, but no. A whole other section with questions. It was ridiculous. If an app needs that much information to work, then they need to rethink what it's doing
