Think back to the last time you ran customer feedback through a tool or AI. What did you do before that output was actually useful for a product decision?

I am genuinely trying to figure out how other product folks handle this. You run feedback through an AI. You get a summary. Sure. But what are you still doing before that result drives a real product decision? We never know if we are missing some obvious step in our own daily workflow.

We always have to match the AI summary back to the raw quotes, the AI will flatten nuance and miss the stuff people say in a weird roundabout way that actually reveals the real problem Then it's a case of checking if the pattern it found is actually a pattern or just three angry people with the same edge case, usually means pulling up the accounts and seeing if they're even our target user After that it's the internal politics bit, does this align with what sales are hearing, does it break something engineering warned us about six months ago, that sort of thing
