Profits and Losses

I have a 2 part question: What's the most you've lost trading Forex and were you able to recover it? If so, were you able to become profitable and how much profitable?

Nice results — but remember that individual wins and losses don't tell the full story. What matters is whether your approach has a statistical edge over a meaningful sample size, and whether your risk management keeps you in the game long enough for that edge to play out. A single screenshot doesn't show drawdown periods, risk-per-trade, or whether the position sizing was appropriate for the account. The community wiki covers how to evaluate whether you actually have an edge and how to size positions to protect it. Resources: **Risk Management** | **Having an Edge**

Lost about 8k in my first year, thought I could outsmart the market with no real plan. Took a long break then came back with strict risk rules and haven't had a losing month since, up around 30% this year
