Doubts about interactive brokers for investing

1\] confused whether to buy ETF that follows snp 500 or nasdaq 100 2\] also, what are the taxes involved for long term investment 3\] i’ve set up my interactive brokers account but the issue is there are 2 account ids created, 1 of them is taking funds in all currencies except INR and another one is taking in INR, maybe this happened because while signing up I had selected that i wish to invest in both Indian and US markets? also then how do I sort it out 4\] is it necessary for me to fund my account before I see any other interface in the app? It would be a great help with these doubts thankyou
