Do people actually scan stickers?

Have you personally ever scanned a sticker with a QR code or manually searched the URL on that sticker? I’m trying to ascertain the efficacy of them. It seems mixed. But I’m still uncertain. I’ve personally never scanned one. But I wonder if I’m in the minority. Do people think it might corrupt their files/steal data? What’s a more effective sticker strategy? So many questions, so many unexplored answers.

Tbh I’d never do it because there is a risk of malicious behavior, but for some reason management always wants the qr option available. Probably cmr software would work as in having a membership like Macys or w.e plus having some sort of small benefit to being part of the club. My biggest concern is kind of how easy it would be to possibly just put a qr qr on top and be phishing attack. While virus on android are not common and even less common on iPhone there have been ways to be able to pull credit card data from a user through the clipboard that I’m aware of and even more I’m unaware of.
