Which are the best indicators? Written by own or using built-ins?

using the sahi trading app rn and with the help of that I built my own custom built RSI indicator that shows us the relative strength index of any stock/index I compared it with the inbuilt RSI indicator and found certain differences between both of them, have shared the output in the post, share your thoughts on this whether a custom built indicator is good or should we keep using the inbuilt indicator? does this work?

Volume . Combined with support and resistance

fair point honestly, price action with volume makes more sense. i was just messing around with the RSI to see why the values differ from the default indicator on lower timeframes. but yeah, without volume backing it up, breakouts can easily turn into hopium lol

Exactly and any indicator is based on only three factors :- price , volume and momentum of price movements

I'm keeping it simple and straight, unhaired RSI only

Makes sense. default 14 period is classic for a reason i guess. i only tried tweaking the formula because wilder's smoothing sometimes reacts way too late when candles go crazy. wanted to see if custom calculations cut the noise or just make things worse, but simple is usually less headache ngl
