I’m building an iOS app for guitar players and looking for honest feedback 🎸

I’m working on **SoundGate Guitar**, an iOS app designed to help guitar players practice smarter and improve their playing. The app listens to you play through your device’s microphone and gives you real-time feedback, helping you practice songs, work on chords, improve your accuracy, and track your progress. We’re still growing and improving the app, so I’d love to get it into the hands of more guitar players and hear what they think. I’d really appreciate it if you gave SoundGate a try! I’m especially interested in hearing what you like, what could be better, and whether you’d find it useful in your regular routine. If you enjoy using it, I’d also love to hear about your experience on the App Store. Thanks so much to anyone willing to give it a shot!

Right now the post describes SoundGate Guitar in words any practice app could use. The microphone feedback is the part worth showing: one short screen recording of a chord being played and the app pointing out what was off would tell a guitarist more than the whole paragraph. I'd also put the App Store link in the post body, then take it to where guitar players already talk about practice. I make ThreadFox. Managed is us doing that part: posting SoundGate Guitar in the guitar and practice communities whose rules allow an app post, and answering replies, for one 30-day campaign at $49: https://threadfox.vip/p/ef4lt/managed

Glad it helped. If you record the chord clip, keep it under 20 seconds and get the app's correction on screen within the first five. That's the moment a guitarist decides whether it's really listening.

If your trying to market it, short form content is crucial, but obviously will burn you out. That's why I built Appsurge, which markets it for you. It has a generous free plan so feel free to check it out!
