Purchasing existing IG accounts when starting?

Hey guys like the title says do you guys purchase existing Instagram, X, Facebook, Tik Tok accounts when starting or do you build it from scratch because I see alot of these gambling companies are purchasing existing accounts and rebranding it and turning it into there brand? Like do you guys also do that or nah? And is it worth it or not?
