I run outbound for my own company, and my stack looked like everyone's: Apollo for leads, Clay for enrichment, Smartlead and Instantly for email, HeyReach for LinkedIn, HubSpot for the CRM. Six logins, six bills, six copies of the same leads.
At some point I looked at what I was actually paying for. The value came from my own data and from the platforms underneath: Google for email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp. Most of these tools are an interface over the same APIs, priced per seat and per contact, and you can't change how they work.
The cost wasn't even the worst part. Tracking was. A lead replies on LinkedIn while the email sequence keeps going, and the reply sits in a tool nobody checked that day.
So I built **AgentSDR**, an open-source AI SDR that does all of it in one workspace:
* **Find and enrich leads** (like Clay) with your own API keys: 15 providers including Apollo, Hunter, Lusha and FullEnrich, plus AI columns that research each row
* **Email sequences** from your own Google Workspace mailboxes (like Smartlead and Instantly)
* **LinkedIn** invitations and messages, plus **WhatsApp** messages and recorded calls (like HeyReach)
* **An AI CRM**: replies from every channel land in one queue, get classified (interested, meeting requested, not now, out of office...) and come with a drafted answer that you approve before it sends
* **One record per lead**, so a reply on one channel stops the outreach on the others
**What it costs:** the software is free under MIT. You pay your providers directly: Google Workspace, Unipile for LinkedIn and WhatsApp (a paid service), an AI key through OpenRouter, and whichever enrichment tools you use. Nothing per seat or per contact on top.
You run it yourself: one Next.js app and one Postgres database, set up with Docker Compose. It's v0.1, so expect rough edges.
I'd love honest feedback, especially from people who run outbound:
* Which tool in your stack would you drop first?
* What would stop you from switching?
